Now is the moment to take a deep breath, the moment for the connecting power of art carried by light — in particular, for a light that is stronger that the technical medium: The inner glow of people. This powerful glow — whether it might take, with Hannah Arendt, the form of “the light of a candle or a blazing sun” — leaves traces in the world over our lifetimes, encouraging and calling us to act in concert across politics, media and the arts.
