Victoria Coeln (b. 1962, Vienna) is a multidisciplinary artist and curator whose light-based oeuvre encompasses abstract and figurative photography, video art, and large-scale artistic interventions in public spaces. Her practice is characterized by a profound engagement with light—both literally and metaphorically—challenging the boundaries of perception, sight, and cognition.

Coeln's artistic interventions act as laboratories that provoke critical discourse surrounding art, culture, philosophy, and politics, engaging diverse audiences across generations and cultures. Her work reshapes spatial perceptions and fosters transformative engagement, inviting a deeper awareness of collective identities.

Since 2002, Coeln has achieved international acclaim for her Chromotopic works, which transform sites of special significance into light art installations, including the Austrian Parliament (Vienna, Austria), Burgos Cathedral (Spain), Göbekli Tepe (Turkey), and UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Ephesus (Turkey) and Choirokoitia (Cyprus).

Since 2019, she has conceptualized and directed large-scale interdisciplinary projects, including Peaceful Revolution, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the 1989 Peaceful Revolution (Leipzig), and Wiener Lichtblicke (Vienna Rays of Hope, Vienna), an annual exhibition exploring socio-political themes and narratives within public spaces. Victoria Coeln has also exhibited indoors at venues such as the Austrian Cultural Forum (Istanbul) and the Museum der bildenden Künste (Leipzig).
